Getting Fit Again

Gert F. KolbelThe Bullworker was invented by Gert F. Kolbel who studied the workings of the human body for over ten years. Most of the exercises that I will show on this site were personally developed by Herr Koebel, and the principle on which they are based is known as Isometric Contraction.

[ Using *Isometric Contraction you can build up and strengthen more than 300 of your 500 basic muscles.]

Isometric Contraction - A contraction in which a muscle exerts force but does not change in length. Isometric contractions are common in activities such as yoga and stretching. Sourced exercise.about.com

Isometric Contraction — Muscle Actively Held at a Fixed Length

A third type of muscle contraction, isometric contraction, is one in which the muscle is activated, but instead of being allowed to lengthen or shorten, it is held at a constant length. An example of an isometric contraction would be carrying an object in front of you. The weight of the object would be pulling downward, but your hands and arms would be opposing the motion with equal force going upwards. Since your arms are neither raising or lowering, your biceps will be isometrically contracting. Sourced Muscle Physiology

[ Using Bullworker you can train your body throughout to produce a superb muscular system. Perhaps the most astonishing thing about the Bullworker System is that most of the exercises only last 6-8 seconds : and these exercise don't merely strengthen the muscles : they also strengthen internal organs. Use 60% of your strength in compressing or in traction.
